Camping Information/FAQ’s

Staying at Love Touring Festival Edinburgh 2023. We hope to welcome many Motorhomes, Caravans, Campervans, RV’s and Tents to our show. Below we provide some general information. If you cannot find the camping information you are looking for, please send an email to: info@adventum.events

How do I book? – Bookings can be made by clicking ‘Book now

What is included in the pitch price? When staying at Love Touring Festival Edinburgh 2023. The price is per pitch and includes everyone in your vehicle, it includes unlimited access into the exhibition area during opening times, entry to entertainment, and shuttle bus to the bus/tram into Edinburgh City Centre.

I don’t want to stay for the duration, can I just book for 2 days? – Tickets are booked from Thursday or Friday, regardless of when you plan to leave.

What camping areas are available?

  • General (pre-booked) – for everyone
  • Blue Badge – Blue badge holders only. You will need your blue badge on display and please be aware that the badges will be inspected on arrival.
  • Electric Hook Up – pitches with electric.
  • General (non-booked) subject to availability. If unavailable / show is full we will update the website – so please check this prior to arriving.
  • Club areas and tickets are subject to availability.
    When will I receive my vehicle pass? All vehicle passes will be provided by lovetouringfestival team, when you arrive onsite.
  • I’ve received my ticket but the details are incorrect? Please email us at info@adventum.events where we can help you.

How big are the pitches? All pitches are 8m x 10m on grassed area. This should accommodate your unit, an awning and additional small car. If you are bringing an extra vehicle, we will do our best to park it near to your pitch but we cannot guarantee this.

Cancellations – We regret bookings are non-refundable. If you cannot make the show, then please contact us as we may be able to organise a show transfer. There will be a £10 administration fee for this. We are unable to transfer tickets once the show opens at 8am on Friday.

Arriving at the site – as you approach the venue you will see temporary signs that will direct you to our camping gate. Here you will be provided with your vehicle/show passes. Please ensure you place your vehicle pass in your window, and follow the marshal’s instructions.

What time can I arrive? – Camping arrivals can check in between 8am and 9pm Thursday and Friday.

What if I arrive after the gate has closed? – Late arrivals will be asked to return in the morning. We do not have any overnight holding area.

Will I be given an allocated pitch? – Pitches are allocated when you arrive. If you would like to camp with friends, please ensure you arrive together.

Can we have visitors to our pitch? – Yes ‘Additional Adult/Child’ wristband per visitor.

Pitches – are available from Thursday 26th July to Monday 31st July 2023. You will be charged from the day you arrive until noon on the Monday regardless of when you leave. This includes unlimited access to the festival area and entertainment.

Four nights – staying with us is £140 to include electric and £100 without, and includes entry to the show and complimentary shuttle bus to access transport into the city centre.
– Early bird offer for March £100 with electric and £80 without

Three nights – staying with us is £120 to include elecric and £70 without, and includes entry to the show and complimentary shuttle bus to access transport into the city centre.

Is water available? – Yes, there is water available onsite. However, we recommend you bring water with you, due to the size of the event and the number of campers filling up, low pressure can occur.

Are there Toilets / Showers / Elsan Point? – Limited toilet and shower facilities are located around the site – either temporary or permanent blocks. Disabled toilet facilities are available at various locations on site. Elsan and Grey waste disposal are located on-site.

Is there a Cash Point? – There is a RBS cash machine on site.

Are all pitches supplied with an electric hook up? – Electric will only be supplied if you opted for EHU on your ticket purchase.

Can I use a generator? – Yes but only between 8am-10pm for two hours at a time, please be considerate to your camping neighbours.

Can I hire a Mobility Scooter? – Yes, there are a few organisations that operate from Edinburgh city centre. Mobility Scooter Hire Edinburgh can be booked in advance by calling +44 07713 987539 or filling in the following contact form: https://www.mobilityscooterhireedinburgh.co.uk/.

Are the sites wheelchair-friendly? – Yes, but please bear in mind that the rural nature of our sites mean some roadways are on grass and could be uneven.

Can I have a barbecue (BBQ)? – No open fires are allowed at any time

Are there Catering Facilities? – There will be a variety of popup food outlets situated around the Festival Event Area.

Can I buy Gas? – to be confirmed nearer to the event date.

Is there First Aid? – Medical Services will be on-site for the duration of the event. If you require first aid please contact – 0131 202 4313

What time does the Love Touring Festival open? – Fri – Sunday 10:00am – 17.00pm. Love Touring Festival Office – Will be able to assist with all your show enquiries, opening times are 9:00am–5:00pm Thurs – Sunday.

Are dogs allowed? – Dogs that are kept on a short lead are permitted with the exception of evening entertainment. Please ensure you clean up after them.

Entertainment – Entry to the evening entertainment is on a first come basis. Should any of the free entertainment venues become full; a one-in, one-out policy will be operated. Only drinks bought from the bar may be consumed within entertainment venues.

Noise Policy – There is an onsite noise curfew of 11pm.

Photography – It is a condition on entry that you may be photographed for use in publicity or for safety and security reasons.

Private Sales – It is a condition of entry, that private sales are prohibited in camping fields.

Security – We have 24-hour security on site. The phone number/location will be on the website nearer the time.

Smoking Policy – Smoking including E-cigarettes is not permitted in any buildings or marquees.

McFleet

Thursday Night 7:30pm– MacFleet
A unique 5 piece live band playing tribute to the legendary supergroup Fleetwood Mac.

Desperados

Friday Night 8:00pm – Desperados
An ensemble of accomplished musicians who deliver a rip-roaring set from the iconic band Eagles!!

Gimmie Abba

Saturday Night: 8:00pm – Gimme Abba
After 20 years of performances, Gimme Abba are now established as one of the best loved UK tributes to Abba! This unique stage show has developed over the years into more than just another ABBA tribute show, reproducing the charismatic stage presence of the flamboyant and glam front four.

Blue Note

Sunday Night: 7:30pm – The Blue Note Social Club
Five-piece covers band

Food and Drink – Only food and drinks bought from the venue bar may be consumed within entertainment venues.
